Born on June 10, 1956, Jay did his graduation from Mercer University in Bachelor of Arts. From the same University, he received Doctor of Jurisprudence. Later, he went to Regent University for his Ph.D. and researched on the subject of American Law Review.

Graduated cum laude from Mercer University, Mr. Jay Sekulow received both a degree in Bachelors of Arts and a Doctor of Jurisprudence while he was paying his services as an editorial staff member of the Mercer Law Review.

Subsequently, he joined Regent University where he accomplished his Ph.D. under the topic of American Legal History.
